Chicago's Downtown Farmstand
Chicago’s Downtown Farmstand is a year-round "farmers market" stocking hundreds of products (many of them organic) from within 250 miles of Chicago, including sustainably-grown fresh produce and edibles produced by local companies.
In addition, the Farmstand serves as a downtown hub for the local food experience. Occasional lunchtime programs feature cooking demonstrations of easy-to-make recipes using what is newest and freshest that day, or tastings of specialties from local food artisans. There's always something new at the Farmstand, so stop by today!
Spring Greens and Honey at the Farmstand
Thanks to a mild winter and early spring, our farmers are anticipating an early harvest this year. Greens and fresh herbs, including basil, are in stock. 10,000 new Bees, with their Queens, have arrived for our rooftop bee hives and will start producing honey as soon as local flowers bloom!
