What is your favorite thing about Chicago?
My favorite thing is that I have so many favorite things! The neighborhoods, my neighborhood, the music scene, the restaurants, sailing on Lake Michigan, the skyline, Grant Park, both the Cubs AND the Sox, the Bears, and Buddy Guy.

What is your favorite restaurant?
Mk, on the Near North Side.

What is your favorite place for hot dogs?
Wieners Circle at 2am.

Favorite pizza place?
Piece, on North Avenue in Bucktown.

Favorite summertime activity?
Catching a Cubs game at Wrigley Field, followed by dinner at Sola or Deleece.

Favorite Chicago tradition?
The Southside Irish Parade.

Where do you like to bring visiting friends or out-of-town guests?
Montrose Harbor at dusk to watch the skyline light up.

Best seat to watch a Cubs game from?
Upper deck box seat behind home plate, where you can see both the game and the boats on Lake Michigan.

Favorite place to see the sun rise?
My new radio studio on the 6th floor of the NBC tower.

The Metro, in the Lakeview neighborhood.

Shaw’s “Royster with the Oyster” Annual Oyster Festival.
